Chief Risk Officer

Our client is a rapidly growing financial technology company operating within a highly regulated environment and expanding its enterprise risk management capabilities.

The Chief Risk Officer will be responsible for developing, leading, and continuously enhancing the company's enterprise risk framework, including governance, risk appetite, risk identification, assessment, monitoring, reporting, and regulatory engagement.

Working closely with executive leadership and the Board, the Chief Risk Officer will provide independent oversight across strategic, operational, financial, compliance, technology, cybersecurity, and emerging business risks.

• Lead the enterprise risk management program
• Develop and maintain risk governance frameworks and reporting structures
• Establish and oversee risk appetite, risk assessment, and monitoring processes
• Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives and new business activities
• Support regulatory examinations and ongoing regulatory engagement
• Present risk assessments and recommendations to senior leadership and the Board
• Build and lead a high-performing enterprise risk team

Successful candidates will bring significant enterprise risk leadership experience within regulated financial services, fintech, digital assets, banking, trust, payments, lending, or related environments. Experience building risk frameworks during periods of rapid growth, organizational transformation, or heightened regulatory oversight is particularly valuable.
