Be more cosmopolitan without leaving home as a citizen diplomat with the Iowa International Center Being a hospitality host you’ll not only interact and learn from your international visitors, but it’s a great opportunity for our visitors to get a behind-the-scenes look at what life is life in Des Moines. Bring them to your home for a casual dinner and conversation for a wonderful "person to person" intercultural experience!
International guests visit Iowa year-round, so there’s always an opportunity to be a host.
Provide transportation for your guests from their hotel and back again. Accommodate special dietary restrictions.
