We’re looking for a driven IT Automation & Scripting Engineer who thrives on eliminating inefficiencies, building secure-by-design solutions, and elevating the consistency and quality of IT service delivery through thoughtful automation.

Role Description

This role goes beyond scripts — it's about architecting automation with security baked in from the start. You’ll be responsible for designing and implementing workflows and tools that not only increase efficiency but also fortify security posture across client environments. You’ll be part of a team that doesn’t take shortcuts and doesn’t bolt on security as an afterthought.

Key Responsibilities

Script Development via RMM:
Create, manage, and deploy Power Shell scripts through our Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) platform. Common use cases include installing/uninstalling software, enforcing security baseline settings (like disabling RDP), and automating privileged password rotation with secure logging to our proxy server. Every script should follow security-first principles.

Workflow Automation:
Build and refine automated workflows with an emphasis on risk mitigation, consistency, and resilience — while also identifying and automating manual processes that can improve operational efficiency and reduce human error.

Tooling & Integration:
Recommend and implement tools that support secure automation and align with industry best practices.

Analytics:
Deliver insights through dashboards and metrics that help identify bottlenecks, track automation ROI, and monitor security impact.

Collaboration:

Partner with engineering, NOC, and client success teams to identify automation opportunities that reduce overhead and increase security.

Documentation:
Maintain clear documentation for scripts, processes, and configurations to support internal knowledge transfer and audit readiness.

What We’re Looking For

3+ years of hands-on experience in scripting, automation, or infrastructure engineering.

Expert in Power Shell, with a track record of secure and scalable script development.

Familiar with RMM platforms, Microsoft 365, Azure, and Active Directory.

Demonstrated ability to build automation that improves both operational efficiency and cybersecurity posture.

Comfortable evaluating tools and technologies through a security lens.

Clear communicator who can explain automation concepts to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
