As a Developmental Technician specializing in General Facilities and Maintenance at Walmart, you ll play a crucial role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of our stores, equipment, and fixtures. Working under the guidance of the local General Maintenance Manager, you ll follow established schedules and guidelines, performing inspections, cleaning, and repairs to keep everything running smoothly.

• Base pay: $43,680.00 - $58,240.00 / year
• Individual compensation packages are based on skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related factors.
• Bonus may be available and will be disclosed during the interview process.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for associates at Walmart and Sam s Club. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor s degrees, including English language and certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are paid for by Walmart.

• All primary responsibilities are assisted or performed under the direct supervision of an experienced technician
• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, and food equipment) with hand tools and power tools
• Utilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair work orders, support stores and store associates, and document repair activities
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues
• Complete required training to operate equipment and tools safely

• 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Can lift up to 50 lbs. at a time
• Can move up and down ladders frequently
• Comfortable working at heights frequently
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods
• Able to work in various temperatures
• Must maintain an excellent driving record
