Assistant Project Manager, Data Center Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the Data Center sector. Responsibilities- Assisting in the development and management of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitoring project progress and providing regular updates to senior project managers and leadership.
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks to ensure project success.
- Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, and status updates.
- Supporting procurement processes, including vendor selection and contract management.
- Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitating effective communication among team members and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in project management, preferably within the data center, construction, or technology sectors.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of data center infrastructure and operations is a plus.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is an advantage.
- Collaborating with project managers to define project objectives and deliverables.
- Tracking project timelines and ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
- Attending and contributing to project meetings, both internally and with external stakeholders.
- Reviewing project documentation and ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Assisting in the resolution of project-related issues and challenges.
- Conducting site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to project plans.
- Supporting the preparation of presentations and reports for stakeholders.
