At Brakes Plus, where we have grown to nearly 200 stores across 7 states since 1990, we are committed to superior products and unmatched service. Our Fast Track Management Program prepares leaders to efficiently operate a Brakes Plus store with the goal of becoming a Regional Manager.
Job DescriptionAs part of this program, you will learn the “In’s & Out’s” of the BP business, become well‑versed in operating a financially sound and high‑performing location, build a highly motivated team, and develop an environment where your service team can thrive. You will work closely with the Sales Team on the lobby floor and the Service Team in the shop to improve performance and execute store processes.
Those who perform and exceed expectations typically receive Store Management opportunities within 3-12 months.
- Minimum 2 years of management experience in automotive or 4 years of management experience
- Basic understanding of utilizing store technology (POS, email, etc.)
- Experience with payroll management, expense analysis, and inventory control
- Experienced technician or bay manager
- Demonstrated success in employee retention and conflict resolution
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and adaptability skills
- Ability to review and analyze a P&L statement
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to develop professional relationships with customers and team members
- Ability to work efficiently both individually and as part of a team
- Solid knowledge of basic OSHA laws
- Valid driver’s license
- Compensation: $50,000 - $100,000 annual income based on experience
