Our client, an industry leader in high-throughput genotyping laboratory services, is seeking a Lab Automation Technician 2nd shift to join their dynamic team. As a Lab Automation Technician 2nd shift, you will be an integral part of the automation support team, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of advanced laboratory automation systems. Pay Range: 30.00
Shift: 2nd shift
What's the Job?
- Perform preventive maintenance on automated laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automated machines to minimize downtime.
- Document maintenance activities and repairs using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Create detailed maintenance procedures and testing protocols to enhance machine reliability.
- Collaborate with team members to test and improve custom automation systems, supporting high-throughput genotyping processes.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 3-6 years of experience working with automation or robotics systems.
- Proficiency with mechanical and electrical components of automated machinery.
- Ability to use hand tools, shop tools, and Microsoft Office software effectively.
- Physical ability to climb ladders, work around machinery, and lift objects up to 60 lbs.
- Experience with Solid Works CAD software is a plus but not required.
