Position
Order Picker – 3rd Shift (3:30pm – 12:00am, Monday–Friday). Overtime on Saturday and Sunday as required. Daily shift overtime may be required.
Hourly rate: $22.26 + $0.55 shift differential.
Job Responsibilities- Pick finished products from storage racks for customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Work safely to prevent injuries by following company and OSHA safety regulations.
- Perform functions within the pick module, send orders down conveyor, wrap, and remove jams.
- Prepare orders for shipment by palletizing, wrapping, boxing, printing, and attaching labels.
- Place packing slips, prebills, and other required documentation on orders.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Charge and change batteries on equipment.
- Record inventory and product transactions accurately on computer or RF device.
- Maintain clean work area, remove waste, and keep floor clear.
- Remove shrink-wrap and cardboard from pallets before picking.
- Place materials in proper locations.
- Assist in training current and new order pickers as directed.
- Build and assemble pre-packs and pallet displays per instructions.
- Perform case counts on completed orders as directed.
- Assist supervisor with inventory functions as directed.
- Report inventory discrepancies immediately.
- Place damaged and partial cases of product in designated location for recouping.
- Complete necessary paperwork accurately and timely.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Safe operation of material-moving equipment.
- Basic math operations (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
- Follow written and oral instructions.
- Team player, rapid pace for continuous periods.
- Organize and multitask concurrently.
- Communicate effectively with plant personnel.
- Basic computer keyboarding skills.
- Efficient order picking skills.
- High initiative, effort, and commitment to work tasks safely and efficiently.

- Participate in resolving order picking issues.
High school diploma or GED. On‑site job‑specific training. Must obtain forklift and Order Picker certification. Pass an Order Picker Qualification Checklist.
Protective Clothing & DevicesEmployees may be required to wear PPE as instructed respirator use is required, a physical examination will be performed.
Food Safety & QualityResponsible for reporting any food safety and quality issues to authorized personnel. Follow cGMP and maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping. Ensure pallets are clean and in good repair.
Work Environment &Physical Requirements
- Manufacturing plant environment, moving mechanical parts, motorized vehicles, varying temperatures.
- Must lift up to 50 lbs.
- May work at heights up to 30 ft.
- Continuous hearing, speaking; continuous vision.
- Occasional balancing.
- Standing and walking frequently to continuously.
- Forward bend, rotation, elevation frequently; occasional.
- Typical lifting: floor‑to‑waist 35–50 lbs, waist‑to‑crown 35 lbs, front carry 50 lbs up to 15 ft, one‑hand carry 30 lbs up to 15 ft.
- Push and pull up to 80 lbs; hand grips up to 45 lbs; pinch grip up to 45 lbs.
- Stair climbing up to 200 stairs/day.
- Repetitive wrist, hand motions frequently to continuously.
