Lead Production Worker - Nights 3,2,2,3 12 hour shiftLOCATION: Accumold Production
REPORTS TO: Vice‑President of Production
FLSA: Non‑exempt
JOB SUMMARYPerforms all tasks necessary to produce plastic components to the customer’s specifications and promised delivery dates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Coordinates flow of orders to ensure on‑time orders.
- Provides mold performance input on new tooling to the tool room, quality control, and production manager as required.
- Has knowledge of plastic materials used in production.
- Organizes workflow and duties for employees and machinery, using a two‑week window for planning efficient use of machinery and labor.
- Follows work instructions, uses SPC and customer procedures, and inspects product continuously to maintain highest quality parts.
- Leads and promotes efficient production practices by performing and directing ongoing tasks.
- Communicates production problems with management and attends relevant meetings to resolve customer complaints, production issues, and design problems.
- Other duties as required.
- Education/Experience. High school education or GED required. Experience or training in manufacturing using quality systems. Ability to use measuring and inspection equipment to monitor quality.
- Computer Skills. Ability to perform basic keyboarding.
- Language Skills. Ability to read, comprehend, and utilize instructions and short correspondence with coworkers and supervisors. Ability to effectively present information to other employees in one‑on‑one and small group situations.
- Mathematical Skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure; understand specification drawings for inspection purposes.
- Reasoning Ability. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a number of concrete variables. Ability to follow simple verbal instructions.

. Willingness to attend classes or training to enhance and update knowledge and skills. - Supervisory Responsibilities. None.
- Physical Demands. Frequently required to sit/stand, use hand to manipulate very small parts or tweezers, detect texture, burs, and edges. May need to move or transport up to 55 lbs. Requires good vision and color vision, close vision, and use of microscope.
- Work Environment. Climate‑controlled environment with moderate noise levels. Requires the use of safety glasses.
