Job Summary:
Job shadow and assist the Process Engineer or Process Technician to coordinate the process, methods, and sequence to produce injection molded plastic parts in Micro Mold Production or Small Mold Production. Assist in providing support to production, to ensure dimensionally accurate parts. Meet or exceed the expectation of the customer
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Education/Experience . High school education coursework required.
- Computer Skills . Ability to operate personal computer, copy machine and telephone required. Proven accuracy in keyboarding skills to enter data correctly and efficiently. Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word preferred.
- Language Skills. Proven reading and written communication skills required with the ability to comprehend and interpret instructions and standards from manuals or other materials.
- Mathematical Skills . Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Reasoning Ability. Ability to interpret standards or guidelines and apply to actual variables required. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

. Attend classes or training to enhance and update knowledge and skills. Ability to work with various personnel in departments to reach consensus on work related issues. Must be able to maintain a professional relationship with fellow workers and the public. - Supervisory Responsibilities . None.
- Physical Demands. While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is frequently required to sit/stand and move throughout the facility. Uses hands to manipulate very small parts or tweezers. Sense of touch may be used to detect texture, burs, and edges. Normal or corrected to normal vision is required with good color vision, close vision, and ability to use microscope and adjust focus.
May be required to move or transport up to 55 lbs. - Work Environment . The duties of this job are executed in a climate-controlled environment with few temperature or humidity extremes. Noise levels will vary from very low to moderate depending on the location that the work is performed within the facility. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Use of safety glasses is required.
