Manufacturing Coordinator
- Piping

The Manufacturing Coordinator
- Piping will oversee the coordination of manufacturing processes, ensuring seamless communication among engineering, procurement, and production teams. Responsibilities include scheduling, material planning, quality control, and optimizing workflows to efficiently meet project deadlines. Performs related work as required.

Production Coordination & Scheduling:
  • Coordinate manufacturing workflows to ensure timely production and delivery of prefabricated MEP components.
  • Assist in maintaining production schedules, aligning with project timelines and contractor requirements.
  • Monitor work progress and identify workflow obstacles, making necessary adjustments to meet deadlines.
  • Support quality assurance and quality control efforts by monitoring compliance with specifications and standards.
Material & Inventory Management:
  • Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure raw materials and components are available for manufacturing.
  • Track material usage, shortages, and deliveries to avoid production delays.
  • Ensure compliance with material specifications and project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including shop tickets, material receipts, quality control reports, and fabrication logs.
Quality Control & Compliance:
  • Support quality assurance and quality control efforts by monitoring compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in the manufacturing facility.
Communication & Coordination:
  • Serve as the liaison between project managers, engineers, and manufacturing teams to ensure clear communication and execution of project requirements.
  • Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to review production schedules, identify challenges, and implement solutions.
  • Provide regular updates on manufacturing status and performance metrics.
Process Improvement & Efficiency:
  • Work with Shop team to document ISO 9001 documentation. (NCR's, CAR's Preventive Maintenance, etc.)
  • Work with Shop team to document and maintain current work Instructions.
  • Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and best practices.
Minimum Education & Experience Required to Perform

Essential Functions:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in manufacturing, construction management, or mechanical trades.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing coordination, prefabrication, or supply chain management within the MEP, construction, or industrial sector
  • Thorough knowledge of MEP materials and prefabrication processes, as well as MEP components and their integration into modular skids/racks
  • Proficiency in Stratus Software.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.

Environmental Adaptability:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally.
  • May have occasional visits to a job site which would require periods of standing, walking and/or climbing stairs.
Equipment/Tools:
  • Laptop computer (MS Office and various software systems)
