DoI want to do the role?
The Quality, Infection Prevention and Compliance Specialist helps the organization ensure it’s doing its best work for the best patient care. Overall, you will be responsible for knowing the AAAHC regulations and ensuring that they are being followed within the surgery center. You will be responsible for the ongoing education of our staff, presenting information to committees within the organization, tracking infections and identifying root causes, administering patient‑safety action plans, and ensuring staff have the knowledge to achieve successful patient outcomes.
You will answer phones and page other professionals in a kind and audible manner, and ensure patient impact of office activities complies with practice standards. Your goal is to ensure flow of the patient from scheduling until intake for surgery, continually improving the patient and physician relationship. You will be a role model for outstanding service and processing, working Monday‑Friday between 6:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
I do this job?
You're familiar with endoscopy, orthopaedics or have worked in a surgery center. You must be curious and kind with patients and staff, be able to sit at a desk for long periods, and have at least 3 years of nursing experience in a similar role with a current license. You should be able to provide feedback, use confidential patient information appropriately, have strong typing and computer skills, think on your feet, and be excited about compliance and administrative processes.
A certificate in healthcare administration is a plus.

AMPSC is a privately held medical facility. Candidates who receive a conditional offer of employment will be required to complete a criminal background check, and meet certain vaccination requirements.
