Key Responsibilities
  • To be a Superior Supervisor:
    In the absence of department heads, this position is in charge of the building. Assist and lead the Wellness team and other departments to ensure quick, reliable, and person‑centered care is provided.
  • To be a Force on the Floor:
    Be available to help with call lights, requests for assistance, and demonstrate a sense of urgency that places residents’ needs first.
  • To be a Diligent Documenter:
    Complete and maintain resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents accurately and efficiently.
  • To be a Compassionate Caregiver:
    Provide compassionate care, upholding the core values so that each resident feels safe and cared for.
Qualifications
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state of employment.
  • Provide direct (hands‑on) nursing care, including medication passes as needed.
  • Thorough working knowledge of current care standards and regulations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current medication regulations and laws.
  • Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to residents.
  • Experience with hands‑on care of memory‑impaired residents is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is preferred, but not required.
  • Read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude and love for residents.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day.
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds and perform two‑person transfers.
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall.
  • Criminal clearance required.
