Job Summary
Position:
Wellness Nurse Manager (Part‑Time)
Location:
Ankeny, Iowa
Sign‑On Bonus: $3,000
Hourly wage: $37.00–$39.50 per hour.
Shift ScheduleWednesday 6 am‑6 pm
Responsibilities- Acts as a Superior Supervisor, leading the Wellness team and other departments in providing person‑centered care during the absence of department heads.
- Serves as a Force on the Floor by responding to call lights, assisting team members, and demonstrating a sense of urgency to prioritize residents’ needs.
- Maintains Diligent Documenter standards, completing resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents accurately and efficiently.
- Provides Compassionate Caregiver support by exemplifying core values and ensuring each interaction is professional, caring, and leaves residents feeling safe.
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing within the state of employment.
- Direct hands‑on nursing care experience, including medication passes.
- Thorough knowledge of current care standards, regulations, medication laws, and supervision requirements for residents.
- Experience with memory‑impaired residents and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
- Positive and energetic attitude toward resident care.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform two‑person transfers; must assist residents with mobility and post‑fall care.
- Criminal record clearance required.
