Sample Quality Analyst

Job Summary

Our client – a leading healthcare & life sciences provider – is seeking a Sample Quality Analyst to join their team. The position is onsite in Ankeny, Iowa and is a 6‑month contract role with the possibility of extension. This is a W‑2 position; third‑party firms or C2C arrangements are not accepted.

• Receive, identify, and prepare samples (e.g., grain, seed)
• Ensure incoming samples are labeled correctly and that the appropriate analytical requests have been made
• Prepare and analyze samples according to ISO work instructions
• Prioritize analysis according to customer needs matched to capacity
• Organize and coordinate projects in a high‑throughput lab environment
• Obtain analytical data, ensure data integrity, and work effectively in multidisciplinary teams to deliver laboratory results promptly

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering field such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field
• 0+ years of related experience, including laboratory work completed in an academic setting
• Laboratory experience may include: total combustion analysis, elemental analysis, calorimetry, Gas Chromatography (GC), NIR spectroscopy, NMR, colorimetry, falling number, farinograph, mixograph, bench‑top wet‑chemical or biology analysis
• Key competencies: organizational skills, time‑management skills, technical skills

Pay Range: $40,000 – $43,000 (good faith estimate; final compensation may vary based on factors such as background, knowledge, skills, and location).
