The RoleWe're looking for a Sports Card Department Specialist to assist our sports card department. You'll manage inventory, evaluate collections, help collectors find their chase cards, and stay on top of the market. While sports cards are your focus, you'll also help with general store operations—ringing up sales, stocking shelves, and keeping the shop running smoothly.
What You'll Be Doing Sports Card-Focused- Manage and organize sports card inventory (raw, graded, sealed)
- Process buy-ins and price cards based on condition and market trends
- Help collectors with player collecting, set building, and investments
- Stay current on market trends, player news, and sales comps
- Monitor grading populations and market movements
- Provide excellent customer service across all departments
- Run the register and process transactions
- Maintain store organization and cleanliness
- Assist with receiving and stocking inventory
- Help with opening/closing duties as scheduled
- Deep knowledge across multiple sports (baseball, basketball, football, etc.)
- Understanding of grading standards (PSA, BGS, SGC) and pop reports
- Ability to assess condition of sports cards
- Experience with sports card marketplaces and pricing tools
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30 lbs
Nights and weekend availability required
