Responsibilities
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications for prepared food merchandise and collaborate with cross-functional teams to educate associates on tools, tasks, and resources.
- Communicate effectively with team members and adapt to the business needs in other areas.
- Prepare food according to item specifications, plan future and mass productions, and prepare for seasonality while adhering to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management.
- Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment and demonstrate an understanding of product and layout execution.
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement, using handheld technology for production decisions, ordering, receiving club pickup orders, training, and product quality.
- Drive the performance of the area by stocking and rotating merchandise, ensuring quality and date-control standards, eliminating waste, and providing member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs.
- Assist members with purchasing decisions, payment types, locating merchandise, and resolving member issues and concerns.
- Act as a brand advocate and influence others to work respectfully, supportively, and team-oriented, understanding roadblocks and assisting in training.
- Comply with company policies, procedures and ethics, using the Open Door Policy and applying these in business processes.
- Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners, and communicating progress, recommending improvement opportunities, and adapting to change.

Live Better U is a company-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates at Walmart and Sam’s Club facilities, covering high-school completion to bachelor’s degrees, English language learning, and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are paid by Walmart.
Hourly wage range: $18.00 to $26.00+; additional compensation in the form of hourly premiums up to $3.00 per hour may apply based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
Minimum Qualifications- Be at least 18 years old.
- Successfully complete all required trainings and assessments within a prescribed timeframe if offered the position.
- Food Safety Certification;
Food Service experience. - Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
