• Oversees the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock to ensure items are quickly and efficiently placed on the sales floor.
• Manages the setup and maintenance of displays for specific store sections, ensuring signage is accurate and promotions are highlighted according to corporate guidelines for resets and seasonal updates.
• Manages the opening or closing of the store, including securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and ensuring everything is in place for a smooth daily operation.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issue resolution.
• Oversees the daily activities of all store associates, ensuring responsibilities are performed effectively and customer service is excellent.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies, product knowledge, and operational procedures to improve performance.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Executes the market plan by arranging products and signage according to corporate guidelines, ensuring promotional materials are displayed properly and updated regularly; ensures execution of the company Inventory Integrity process.

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• College experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Creative thinking
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure

• Frequently operate cash register
• Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place/remove merchandise up to heights of 5–10 feet
• Frequently ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and stock stock
• Frequently kneel, bend, twist, and stoop in the stock room and on the sales floor
• Frequently communicate with customers face-to-face and by telephone, and exchange information with managers and coworkers
• Move across the sales floor assisting customers and retrieving stock from the stock room
• Work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including day, evening, weekends, and possible overnight shifts and travel as required
• Identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures
• Remain in a stationary, upright position for extended periods as required
