Join us as the Manager of Space & Assortment and help transform how products come to life in our stores through thoughtful merchandising, optimized layouts, and impactful retail strategies. The Manager of Space & Assortment is responsible for leading store layouts, planograms, resets, and assortment strategies across new, existing, remodeled, and acquired stores.
Drives space productivity through data-driven insights, optimized product placement, and differentiated assortments. Leads major merchandising initiatives, software transformation efforts, and cross-functional collaboration to improve store performance and execution.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development for the Space, Floor, and Assortment team.
- Lead the Space Planning software transformation, including implementation, capability development, and change management.
- Oversee floor planning, merchandising standards, store layouts, and space productivity analysis.
- Manage category planogram resets, including recommendations, execution, communication, and project timelines.
- Lead merchandising support for monthly promotional and sales plan cycles.
- Oversee assortment planning, item lifecycle management, store-specific assortments, and remodel/reset execution.
- Partner with Category Management, Procurement, Construction, and suppliers on product placement, fixtures, equipment, and merchandising initiatives.
- Drive process improvement, operational efficiency, and field execution excellence.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of space planning experience, with leadership experience preferred.
- Retail experience in convenience, grocery, discount, or related environments.
- Expertise in floor planning, planogram development, assortment optimization, and space analytics.
- Experience leading system implementations and organizational change management.
