About Drylet

Drylet is a biotechnology company delivering advanced bioremediation solutions for wastewater, agricultural, and industrial applications. Our proprietary microbial products help clients reduce solids, improve treatment efficiency, and lower operating costs—often eliminating the need for mechanical dredging or infrastructure upgrades.

A cornerstone of Drylet’s portfolio is Bio Dredger, a proven biological solution for reducing accumulated solids in anaerobic and facultative lagoons across the food and beverage industry.

Position Overview

Drylet is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives across our full product portfolio, with a primary focus on food and beverage wastewater lagoons and Bio Dredger deployments. This role is ideal for a self‑motivated professional with established wastewater industry relationships who thrives in both collaborative and independent sales environments.

The successful candidate will identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities while working closely with Drylet’s technical, operations, and leadership teams to deliver effective solutions for customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive business development efforts for Drylet’s full product portfolio, with a primary emphasis on Bio Dredger applications in food and beverage wastewater lagoons
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of prospects including food processors, renderers, pulp and paper plants, beverage manufacturers, and related industrial wastewater operators
  • Leverage existing wastewater industry relationships while building new strategic connections with plant managers, environmental staff, engineers, and consultants
  • Conduct site visits, assessments, and presentations to evaluate lagoon conditions and recommend appropriate treatment strategies
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to support dosing plans, trials, and long‑term treatment programs
  • Manage the sales process from lead generation through proposal, negotiation, and close
  • Represent Drylet at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and activity reports
  • Function independently to build and manage a personal book of business while contributing positively to team objectives
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the wastewater, environmental services, food & beverage, or industrial treatment sectors
  • Strong working knowledge of wastewater treatment systems, particularly lagoons and biological treatment processes
  • Established industry relationships and ability to navigate complex, consultative sales cycles
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and comfort adopting CRM systems and other sales technologies
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, team‑based environment while also operating independently
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50%
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds (product handling, demonstrations, site work)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with lagoon solids management, biological treatment products, or dredging alternatives
  • Background working with food processors, rendering facilities, pulp and paper plants, and beverage manufacturers
  • Experience collaborating with engineers, regulators, or environmental consultants
  • Competitive base salary and commission structure, commensurate with experience
  • Performance‑based incentives aligned with individual and company growth
  • Remote work flexibility
  • Opportunity to play a key role in a fast‑growing company with proven technology and expanding market demand
Why Join Drylet
  • Work with innovative, science‑backed solutions that deliver measurable results
  • Build your own business within a supportive, entrepreneurial team culture

  • Long‑term opportunity as Drylet continues to expand across industrial and municipal markets
