Groundworks Operations, LLC is seeking a Coforeman in Ankeny, United States. If you are a skilled installer ready to become a jobsite leader, we want you.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Foreman with leading a high‑performance team for local market/area customers.
  • Review job specifications to determine materials, tools, and equipment needed prior to reporting to the job site.
  • Assess onsite conditions, set plans based on time allotment and tool availability, and assign duties to crew.
  • Install products and services with support from a national team of trained professionals.
  • Innovate and troubleshoot as needed to meet company standards and timetables.
  • Provide customers with superior quality and service while onsite.
  • Ensure all final documentation is complete, accurate, and delivered to the proper parties.
  • Safely load, unload, and clean truck, and handle materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.
  • Carry out installation duties according to Foreman instructions, methods, standards, and timetables.
  • Drive company vehicles safely and meet all operating requirements.
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating work, accounting for labor hours and productivity.
  • Supervise, lead, and mentor a crew of two or more people; lead the crew in the Foreman’s absence.
  • Communicate with customers before, during, and after the job, addressing any changes prior to implementation.
  • Complete necessary paperwork, check‑in and check‑out procedures as needed.
  • Maintain knowledge of trade‑specific tools for installations and proper equipment use and care.
  • Lift heavy objects up to 22 kg and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Perform strenuous labor, often under adverse conditions.
  • Build a positive team environment by fostering strong relationships and inspiring mutual trust, professionalism, integrity, and respect.
  • Adhere to company workplace policies, including safety and a harassment‑free environment.
  • Uphold the company’s positive image and reputation in the community.
  • Report to work on time for every working day.
  • Perform other duties as necessary or assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required.
  • Strong communication skills, motivation, and teamwork.
  • Experience leading crews or small teams required.
  • Previous experience in construction, home services, trade work, or general labor required.
  • Basic construction or mechanical knowledge.
  • Valid, non‑restrictive driver’s license.
  • Ability to enter crawl spaces and other confined areas.
Working Conditions
  • Lifts heavy objects up to 50 lbs.; walks and stands for long periods of time.
  • Uses abdominal and lower back muscles to support heavy loads over time without fatigue.
  • Requires good manual dexterity and multi‑limb coordination.
  • Requires excellent stamina.
  • Requires the ability to read reports, data, statistics, and information on computer screens.
