Craftsman / Handyman Role Overview

As a Craftsman / Handyman at Ace Handyman Services, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high‑quality home repair and maintenance services. Your day typically involves evaluating clients' needs, executing diverse repair tasks, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service.

You work both independently and as part of a dynamic team, tackling projects ranging from minor repairs to more involved maintenance.

• Evaluate client needs and provide repair solutions.
• Execute diverse repair tasks (e.g., siding, window replacement, deck repair, painting, carpentry).
• Ensure timely completion and quality workmanship.
• Work independently and collaborate with team members in a fast‑paced environment.
• Maintain accurate records and schedules for assigned territory.

• Strong empathy, listening skills, and excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or vocational training in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a service technician in home repair and/or commercial maintenance; personal tools required.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and various equipment.
• Excellent problem‑solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Own truck or van with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Physical ability to stoop, bend, kneel, stretch, lift, and carry relevant items.
• Availability during typical business hours (Mon‑Fri, 8 AM‑5 PM).
• Ability to read, interpret, and navigate maps within assigned territory.
