Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Full Stack Typescript Developer (Node/React).

What You Will Be DoingYou will join a dynamic R&D team working on innovative systems that interface with automated machinery in an agricultural research environment. Your role is fully onsite in Urbandale, IA, and involves collaborating with team members on a seasonal support schedule during the second shift (11 a.m. to 8 p.m. from February to May). You will develop and debug code, analyze test results, and contribute to system design, enhancements, and support.
Your work will directly impact the development of automated systems, requiring both creativity and technical precision.
- Develop software components using Typescript, Node.js, and React to interact with automated machinery.
- Design and optimize relational databases, SQL queries, and JSON APIs.
- Collaborate with product teams to provide feedback on system design and specifications.
- Debug, test, and analyze software to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Implement code enhancements and support deployment of automated system software programs.
- Maintain code quality through testing and documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives including automation and integration processes.
- Contribute to a fast-paced research environment with innovative technical solutions.
- 5+ years of experience in programming, database design, or server administration.
- Hands‑on experience with SQL query development and relational database design.
- Proven ability to develop JSON‑based APIs.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working onsite in Urbandale, IA, with availability for seasonal second shift support.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience with Git source control management.
- Familiarity with Git Hub Actions automation workflows.
- Knowledge of containerization using Docker.
- Exposure to continuous integration tools and processes.
$60.90 – $87.00 /hr
