Family Office Bookkeeper
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Family Office Bookkeeper to support the financial operations of a private family office. This role will oversee day-to-day accounting functions while helping manage communication and financial processes across a small, collaborative team of professionals.
The ideal candidate is proactive, discreet, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, confidential environment. Strong communication skills and experience with Quick Books.

Responsibilities- Accounting & Financial Management
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and journal postings
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and investment accounts
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking
- Coordinate with external CPAs and tax advisors during tax preparation
- Serve as a financial point of contact for internal team members
- Track outstanding invoices, approvals, and documentation
- Ensure timely follow-up and organized recordkeeping across departments
- Maintain strict confidentiality of financial and personal information
- Utilize Quick Books for bookkeeping and financial reporting
- Support digital document management and secure file organization
- High School diploma or GED
- Dealership and Reynolds and Reynolds experience a plus
- Strong computer and internet skills
- One year of experience in a business office environment
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Able to deal with confidential information appropriately
- Strong attention to detail and interest in accuracy
- Highly professional and dependable
- 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (family office, private office, or small business environment preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Quick Books (required)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of discretion and professionalism
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a small team setting
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Process-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail
