We are seeking an Accounting Expert to support the lab’s growing financial operations — ensuring precision, compliance, and scalable processes as the company continues to expand. • Oversee the accounting cycle: journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and monthly close.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) to inform leadership decisions.
• Track budgets and forecasts
  , performing detailed variance and trend analysis.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
  , expense reimbursements, and vendor relationships.
• Develop and enforce accounting policies and internal control systems tailored to a scaling AI startup.
• Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and finance consultants to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Implement automation and system improvements to streamline financial reporting and data integrations.
• Advise leadership on financial process optimization, cost structure, and operational efficiency.

• 5+ years of professional accounting or controllership experience.
• Professional certification (CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
• Proven experience in tech or AI-focused startups

• Advanced knowledge of GAAP or IFRS

• Proficiency with cloud-based accounting tools (e.g., Quick Books, Xero, Net Suite) and Excel/Sheets.
