The Accounting Specialist is responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy in financial documentation. This role supports the finance department by managing accounts payable and receivable, performing reconciliations, and assisting with month-end close processes.

• Process and record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports, ledgers, and records.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation and files.
• Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve invoice and payment issues.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
• CPA certification (optional, but a plus).
