Currently, we are looking to add an Accountant
to the team:
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Lead inventory related processes and reconciliation
- Support annual budget preparation and update revenue forecasts
- Prepare, review, reconcile, and analyze general ledger accounts
- Prepare recurring, reversing, and adjusting journal entries
- Coordinate with the external tax firm by providing tax-related information and supporting documentation for property tax, sales tax, and income tax filings
- Update and review work papers such as patent and loan schedules
- Assist with the month end, quarter end, and year end closings and reporting processes
- Prepare audit support materials and coordinate with external auditors
- Gather supporting documentation for periodic compliance reporting requirements, including census reporting, insurance reporting, and other regulatory filings
Requirements:
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience - Proficiency in Microsoft D365, Excel, VENA, Avalara Sales Tax, Cert Capture, Word, Office, Power Point
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Availability to work on-site in Ann Arbor during normal business hours
