Client Accounting Specialist

Salary:
Up to $30/hour depending on experience

• Work with a diverse portfolio of small business clients
• Gain experience with cloud-based accounting and financial management systems
• Build expertise supporting e-commerce and merchant-based businesses
• Strengthen your financial reporting and account reconciliation skills
• Collaborate directly with clients and contribute to their financial success
• Expand your knowledge of payroll, sales tax, and compliance-related processes
• Opportunity for qualified professionals, including Enrolled Agents, to assist with individual tax return preparation (1040s) during tax season
• Flexible part-time schedule with meaningful accounting responsibilities

• Record and categorize financial transactions for multiple client accounts
• Reconcile bank, credit card, loan, and merchant accounts
• Prepare monthly financial reports and supporting schedules
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Support payroll, sales tax, and 1099-related activities

• 2+ years of bookkeeping, accounting support, or client accounting experience
• Experience with Quick Books, Xero, or similar accounting software
• Knowledge of merchant platform accounting, including Shopify, Amazon, or eBay
• Accounting education, certification, or equivalent training
• Enrolled Agent credential or experience preparing individual tax returns (1040s) is a plus
