Overview

Unionville-Sebewaing Area School District is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our Central Office team. This position provides administrative support to the district’s business office, administration, and Board of Education. The ideal candidate is professional, maintains confidentiality, and has the ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced office environment.

  • Hourly Rate: Starting at $17.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Part-time, year-round
  • Work Hours: Monday–Friday, with office coverage until 5:00 p.m.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with Accounts Payable, including processing invoices and maintaining vendor records.
  • Assist with the district’s Will Sub substitute management system.
  • Monitor and respond to district bus radio communications as needed.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, forms, and other district documents.
  • Maintain confidential employee and district records.
  • Assist with filing, recordkeeping, data entry, and document management.
  • Provide administrative support to district administrators and the business office.
  • Answer and direct phone calls and assist with general office communications.
  • Perform other administrative and clerical duties as assigned.

Board Secretary Responsibilities
  • Prepare Board of Education meeting agendas and supporting materials.
  • Attend regular and special Board of Education meetings as required.
  • Record, prepare, and maintain official Board meeting minutes.
  • Maintain Board records, policies, resolutions, and official documents.
  • Coordinate Board member communications, meeting notices, and required public postings.
  • Assist with Board elections, organizational meetings, and other Board-related administrative duties.
Qualifications
  • Previous administrative or office experience preferred.
  • Experience in a school district or educational setting is a plus.
