POSITION TITLE:

Office Professional, Records Clerk, 10+ months FTE: 1.0 FTE (10+ Months)

Principal QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of office experience
  • Experience using PC and/or MAC computers for word processing, spreadsheets and database applications
  • Advanced computer skills, such as creating spreadsheets and forms
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff and the public
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be punctual and dependable
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff and the public.

  • Must have a satisfactory evaluation.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks with many interruptions.
  • Assume responsibility for records and regular reports, including maintenance of records and files.
  • Assist with enrollment of students.
  • Assist with meeting coordination.
  • Compile monthly newsletter and other parent communication.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.
  • Assist with grant compliance tasks.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

This is a full time position, requiring regular reliable and predictable attendance on site to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

LANGUAGE

SKILLS:
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Speak effectively before parents, staff and students.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
MATHEMATICAL

SKILLS:

Add, subtract, and multiply and divide in all units of measure.

REASONING ABILITY:

Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
