Location: Superior Township, MI (Ypsilanti, Ann Arbor, & Canton area)

Duration: 1 Year contract with possibility of extensions or conversion

Compensation: $38.67/hr to $48.33/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Must Haves
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience leading and supporting multiple operational improvement initiatives, working directly with engineering, production, procurement, facilities, and leadership teams
  • Experience with Business process improvement, operational transformation
  • Experience working in automotive, manufacturing, or industrial environments
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Power BI experience or  – Similar Work OS/PPM Platforms
  • Experience with Jira, confluence, or Notion
Nice to haves
  • Previous experience working with or within a variety of different cultures
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and rapidly changing environments
  • SAP (working knowledge, not required to be a functional expert)
Day to Day

Insight Global is looking for a Business Process Analyst for one of our automotive customers in Canton, Michigan. In this role, this individual serves as a hands‑on transformation partner to the Head of Operations, working across engineering, production, procurement, facilities, and corporate teams to drive meaningful operational improvement. Their daily responsibilities include assessing current processes, identifying inefficiencies, and designing scalable future‑state workflows supported by clear documentation such as process maps, procedures, and Standard Work Instructions.

This person will work independently to lead cross‑functional workshops to establish role clarity, improve processes, and support system adoption, using strong facilitation, data‑driven insights, and compelling storytelling to influence alignment. The individual prepares executive‑ready reporting that translates complex operational topics into concise, actionable updates, while also supporting KPI management and recurring operational reviews. Additionally, they help deploy and optimize digital tools by configuring systems, establishing governance models, and developing training materials to ensure successful adoption.

Throughout all initiatives, they collaborate closely across functions, navigate cultural and organizational differences, and operate effectively in a fast‑moving, engineering-driven environment.

Responsibilities Process Improvement & Ways of Working
  • Assess and document current‑state processes across the business and operational functions
  • Identify inefficiencies, duplication, and gaps in accountability
  • Design future‑state processes aligned with best practices and organizational scale
    • Process maps and flowcharts
    • Standard Work Instructions (SWIs)
    • Procedures and operating guidelines
  • Drive action plans to close process gaps and support adoption
Workshop & Change Facilitation
  • Independently design and facilitate workshops (e.g., process improvement, role clarity, system adoption)
  • Engage cross‑functional stakeholders to drive alignment and ownership
  • Influence outcomes through strong facilitation, storytelling, and data‑driven insights
  • Create executive‑ready materials and updates for senior leadership
  • Translate complex operational topics into clear, concise messaging
  • Prepare recurring operational review content and ad‑hoc analyses
  • Support administration of operational KPIs
Software & Digital Tool Deployment
  • Support deployment and adoption of modern business tools
  • Assist with tool configuration, governance models, and training materials
  • Act as a bridge between end users, leadership, and IT/system owners
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Engineering, Production, Procurement, Facilities, and Corporate teams
  • Ensure processes and tools support seamless cross‑functional operations
  • Navigate cultural, functional, and geographic differences effectively
