Franchise Onboarding Specialist
The Franchise Onboarding Specialist (aka Jump Start Coach) is responsible for facilitating, providing direction, and supporting new franchisees in the completion of essential tasks to prepare Franchisees for a successful and timely launch of their business. This position will report to the head of Shared Services for BELFOR Franchise Group. Jump Start Coaches schedules weekly meetings with new Franchisees and directs, assists, and coordinates the timely completion of essential tasks outlined in the Jump Start program.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provides ongoing Franchisee support, guidance, and direction on all tasks in the Jump Start task list.
- Works with and communicates effectively with all internal departments and follows up to ensure timely exchange of information and completion of tasks.
- Works independently and collaboratively on assigned tasks and manages project due dates.
- Develops a solid working knowledge of Fran Connect, the Franchise Management Platform. Ensures that essential franchise data is recorded accurately for critical fields as required for each franchisee throughout their Jump Start process.
- Provides an introduction and overview of Fran Connect to new franchisees.
- Facilitates tracking and reporting process on franchisees critical actions.
- Responds to inquiries and requests via phone and email in a timely manner.
- May conduct licensing and permitting research and data collection, compile written summary of findings and provides ongoing support to ensure jurisdictional/local governmental compliance.
- Oversees related third-party vendor partnerships as they pertain to specific franchisee onboarding tasks.
- Assists in the coordination of New Buyer Training and may include printing training material, room set up, and coordinating lunches and dinners.
- Assists in a quarterly review of Pre-Launch manuals with the Brand President, in addition to all associated forms. Makes recommendations to Brand President and Supervisor on recommended updates.
- Ensures franchisee satisfaction with on-time delivery of information and support.
- Updates the training calendars.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Essential
Skills & Experience:
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (includes Excel, PowerPoint)
- Critical thinking and problem-resolution abilities
- Process improvement and continuous improvement mindset
- Detail-oriented and forward thinking
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and comfortable working across functions at all levels
- Highly organized. Plans and prioritizes
- Must have a servant leader, customer focused winning attitude
Experience:
- 1-2 years minimum experience in project management
- Experience in the Franchise Industry preferred
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
