Role SummaryThe Civil Engineering Construction Inspector performs civil engineering construction inspection of roads, sidewalks, bike paths, bridges, buildings, structures, sewers, water mains, landfills, and environmental projects. Responsibilities include plan review, ordinance enforcement, traffic control, basic design, drafting, and surveying tasks. Drafting duties support civil engineering projects using computer‑aided drafting (AutoCAD). Surveying duties encompass field surveying, office work related to surveying, plan review, and assistance in construction inspection, design, and drafting.
