Department: Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E)

FLSA: Exempt or Non-Exempt (based on final role structure)

Position Summary

As a Health & Safety Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting and advancing our safety culture across both office and field operations. This position offers a dynamic mix of hands-on field engagement and program development, working directly with crews to identify risks, drive improvements, and ensure every employee returns home safely.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the implementation, evaluation, and enforcement of HS&E policies to ensure compliance with MIOSHA, OSHA, DOT, and other applicable regulations
  • Conduct field visits, observations, and inspections to identify hazards and drive corrective action
  • Develop and track mitigation measures to prevent recurring safety issues
  • Assist in managing safety data, metrics, and reporting to support continuous improvement
  • Design and deliver safety training programs for new hires and current employees
  • Maintain inventory and accountability for PPE and safety equipment
  • Partner with field leadership to promote and strengthen a proactive safety culture
  • Contribute to company-wide HS&E initiatives and strategic goals
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support operational and safety objectives
