HYMMCO, LLC is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Re-Steel Project Coordinator to manage reinforcing-steel projects from initial job setup through fabrication and delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Set up new re-steel projects and maintain accurate job files, schedules, drawings, logs, and supporting documentation.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, quotes, purchase orders, and bar lists for accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate rebar detailing and track shop drawings through approval, revision, and resubmittal.
  • Compare estimated and detailed quantities and identify significant weight or scope differences.
  • Communicate with customers regarding project requirements, delivery dates, job-site contacts, and priorities.
  • Schedule fabrication and deliveries based on customer needs, shop capacity, material availability, and trucking resources.
  • Coordinate with production, trucking, customers, and vendors to resolve scheduling or material issues.
  • Prepare and maintain bar lists, orders, purchase orders, transmittals, billing records, and change orders.
  • Monitor inventory and material requirements, obtain pricing, place orders, and investigate discrepancies.
Qualifications
  • Experience in construction project coordination, reinforcing steel, structural steel, concrete construction, estimating, detailing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings, blueprints, dimensions, and project specifications.
  • Strong mathematical skills and comfort working with quantities, weights, measurements, and pricing.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills with customers, vendors, drivers, detailers, and production employees.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PDF documents, shared files, and general office software.
  • Rebar detailing, bar-listing, inventory, purchasing, or Shear 97 experience is a plus.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to make sound decisions in a deadline-driven environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday through Friday

Compensation: Negotiable based on experience and qualifications
