Superintendent (High-Rise) Overview
- The Superintendent (High-Rise) will oversee large-scale high-rise construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion.
- Collaborate with project teams to manage schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations throughout project execution.
- Lead and supervise self-performing trades teams to achieve project goals.
- Provide leadership in resolving construction challenges and implementing innovative solutions.
- Maintain strong communication with stakeholders to align project objectives and expectations.
- Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of construction practices and methodologies.
- Support a culture of safety and teamwork within the organization.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Plan, organize, and oversee high-rise construction activities from initiation to completion.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project efficiency.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones are met.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
- Monitor construction progress and address any deviations from plans promptly.
- Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders and management.
- Facilitate effective communication among project participants to resolve issues.
- Ensure quality control measures are implemented and adhered to throughout the project.
- Mentor and guide team members to enhance their performance and development.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; advanced certifications in construction management preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction, with 15 years preferred.
- Proven expertise in managing high-rise construction projects successfully.
- Strong knowledge of construction codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in construction software and project management tools.
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work on-site and adapt to project demands.
- Commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget.
