Position

Summary

The Service Lane Assistant supports a smooth, organized service drive by helping customers get connected quickly and ensuring front-end processes stay on track. This entry-level, full-time onsite role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction, can manage multiple priorities, and is comfortable using basic computer tools.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing prompt, courteous customer assistance at the service department entry point
  • Directing customers to the appropriate service team member and supporting service-lane workflow
  • Coordinating loaner vehicle logistics and completing required customer paperwork
  • Supporting transportation needs and maintaining cleanliness standards for loaners and customer vehicles
  • Assisting with inbound calls and customer status updates as needed

Required qualifications/skills:

  • High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience/training preferred
  • Basic computer, email, and internet proficiency
  • Strong time management skills

Pay: $15.00–$18.00/hour.

What Your Day Looks Like

Your morning begins in the service department, where you’re the first point of contact for arriving guests. You’ll keep the flow moving by helping people get oriented, answering quick questions, and handling the details that help the lane stay efficient. Midday may include coordinating transportation needs, completing forms, and checking that loaner and customer vehicles are presentable. In the afternoon, you’ll shift focus to the service call center—responding to incoming calls and helping provide clear updates so customers know where things stand.

Throughout the day, you’ll balance walk‑in needs with phone activity and assist with additional tasks as priorities change.
