ASAP BMT/Cell Therapy Clinical Faculty The University of Michigan Medical School seeks an exceptional full-time Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join the renowned Rogel Cancer Centers Blood and Marrow Transplantation (BMT) and Cellular Therapy Program . Provide comprehensive care for adult patients undergoing blood and marrow transplantation , hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HCT) , CAR-T , and other cellular therapies within a robust, multidisciplinary environment.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a leading academic medical center committed to clinical excellence, innovation, and groundbreaking research in BMT, cellular therapy, and malignant hematology. The Rogel Cancer Centers BMT Program is one of the largest, most advanced, and research-driven programs in the state and the nation. Program Highlights:
More than 200 adult BMT procedures are performed annually making this one of Michigans largest and most experienced programs. A dedicated multidisciplinary BMT team including physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and transplant coordinators specializes exclusively in stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy. Care is personalized and collaboratively managed , with the full care team convening several times weekly to discuss each patients progress.

Fully accredited by the Foundation for the Accreditation of Hematopoietic Cell Therapy (FACT) . Approved by the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) and the Southwest Oncology Group (SWOG) . A national leader in research , particularly in the study and treatment of graft-vs.

-host disease (GVHD) , making BMT safer and more effective for all patients. Strong basic, translational, and clinical research infrastructure supporting novel therapies and clinical trials. Clinical Responsibilities:
Provide outpatient care via 8 half-day clinical sessions per week , with 2 half-days protected for education, research, and administrative responsibilities. Lead and participate in inpatient BMT and cellular therapy services , scheduled in one-week blocks. Manage HCT and CAR-T patients, with detailed patient flow and care coordination. Engage in the development and conduct of clinical trials . Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
