ASAP Pay Rate: $240000.00 - $415000.00 Lead a high-volume subspecialty service while shaping clinical, educational, and scholarly direction at a top academic institution. The University of Michigan Department of Pathology seeks a Section Chief of Gastrointestinal and Hepatobiliary Pathology. This senior academic leadership role in Ann Arbor, Michigan, provides strategic and operational leadership across a high-volume practice serving Michigan Medicine and affiliated programs.

Opportunity Highlights Serve as Section Chief of Gastrointestinal and Hepatobiliary Pathology Lead a section of 11 faculty members Provide strategic and operational leadership for a high-volume GI pathology practice Direct a subspecialized service supporting Michigan Medicine and affiliated clinical programs Work at the University of Michigan, ranked in Top Public Universities Choose to practice 100% GI and liver pathology, with an option to add another subspecialty Support approximately 23,700 in-house cases and 5,300 outside consult cases annually Advance clinical excellence across the gastrointestinal pathology service Foster academic innovation aligned with departmental missions Support the missions of patient care, education, and research Ann Arbor, Michigan Ann Arbor is a vibrant university city centered around the University of Michigan, which strongly shapes its academic, cultural, and economic identity.
