Position: District Continuous Improvement Team Lead (DCIT)
High School: (1) Mental Health Provider, (1) Special Education, (1) Science
The District Continuous Improvement Team (DCIT) leads and facilitates continuous improvement through the Multi‑Tiered System of Support (MTSS) Framework, the Whole Child Model, and the Nine Principles of Organizational Excellence® utilizing the Michigan Integrated Continuous Improvement Process (MICIP). DCIT Leaders ensure that the school creates, implements, and monitors a Continuous Improvement Plan in alignment with the District’s Eagle Strategic Plan. DCIT is also responsible for a variety of State and Federal Program compliance requirements.
Qualifications- Attend and actively engage in routine meetings at the district and building level to plan, prepare, and implement continuous improvement efforts.
- Lead and facilitate building continuous improvement meetings and efforts while modeling best practice research.
- Attend routine training to develop expertise in MTSS, Whole Child Model, MICIP, Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), strategic planning, meeting facilitation, research‑based instruction/intervention, and Nine Principles for Organizational Excellence.
- Understand and comply with written procedures/protocols governing School and District Continuous Improvement Planning and State and Federal Programs implementation.
- Analyze multiple sources of academic and whole child data to assess district needs and priorities.
- Serve as communication liaison between department/grade level staff and administration.
- Coordinate department/grade level duties including but not limited to preparation of reports, agendas, minutes, and presentations.
