We are seeking to establish a pool of Primary teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2028. The School

The Role

We are seeking to establish a pool of highly effective Primary teachers who are committed to providing high‑quality teaching and learning experiences that support strong academic, social and emotional progress for every student.

Suitable applicants will ideally possess a strong understanding of curriculum, effective classroom practice and the use of assessment to inform teaching and learning. They should be committed to building positive relationships, maintaining high expectations and contributing to a collaborative and improvement‑focused school culture.

Applicants should be prepared to work within established whole‑school approaches to teaching, learning, behaviour and wellbeing. They will ideally value collaboration, instructional coaching, professional feedback and a commitment to continual improvement. Mobility appointments for permanent metropolitan and south‑west teachers

Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South West Education Region school may elect to undertake this role as a 3‑year mobility appointment, with a right of return to their substantive position. At the cessation of the 3‑year mobility appointment, teachers can elect to return to their substantive role, or transfer permanently into this school.

Qualifications

and Requirements
  • Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
  • Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start.
  • Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
