Title 1 Tutor

35 Hours/week

Dix Street Elementary

PAY RATE:
Per the Otsego Educational Support Personnel Association contract

STARTING DATE:  School Year

CLOSING DATE:
June 27, 2026

• All tutors must be “highly qualified” as defined by ESSA (a minimum of 60 college credits or successfully passing the ETS Paraprofessional Test).
• A degree in elementary education or experience working with children in an instructional setting is preferred.

• Provide tutoring for individual and/or small groups of students in a pull out or inclusion program.
• Assist in progress monitoring as instructed by the teacher, record the data and provide the data to the classroom teacher or supervisor, progress monitoring as instructed by the teacher.
• Assist the classroom teachers in the organization of materials and lessons.
