Gobles Junior Academy is a three‑teacher, K‑10 school nestled in the west Michigan countryside on a 10‑acre campus. The school is blessed to offer instruction four days a week, which reduces teacher fatigue and allows a dedicated planning day on Friday. A dedicated church family and supportive school board have invested tens of thousands of dollars and hundreds of man‑hours beautifying and updating the school facility, and we’re currently working to grow our enrollment and community impact.
The school contains 3 dedicated classrooms, a multi‑purpose room, a library, a gymnasium, a full kitchen, large playground and sports field, and a hoop house‑covered garden. GJA’s guiding principles are character (growing into the full measure and stature of Christ), competence (grounding learning in practical applications and skills), and compassion (using our knowledge and skills to bless others).
Bachelor's Degree;
Current NAD Credentials or the ability to secure conditional certification;
Experience in a multi‑grade classroom is preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate will have a passion for leading young people to Jesus and will be actively involved in the church. They must also be organized, have a strong work ethic, and be effective planners and communicators. Beyond competence and endorsements in the core subjects, teaching candidates should demonstrate a steadfast commitment to personal and professional growth.
Applicants must be Seventh‑day Adventist in good and regular standing and embrace the message and mission of the Seventh‑day Adventist Church and the role Adventist Education plays in that mission.
