Mathematics Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated, full‑time Mathematics Teacher for the 2026‑2027 school year at Father Gabriel Richard High School.

• Teach Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Finance, Statistics, Precalculus, and/or AP Calculus AB to high‑school students.
• Develop and deliver lesson plans that engage students and promote high academic achievement.
• Administer attendance, assignments, tests, and grading while maintaining a positive and orderly classroom environment.
• Maintain a disciplined and constructive learning environment, including managing a classroom of 20+ students.
• Collaborate with the instructional leader and mathematics department to share best practices and foster a passion for mathematics.
• Serve as a faculty mentor to one of FGR’s House Groups and support the school’s mission through additional duties as assigned.
• Meet with students and parents as needed to discuss academic progress and other concerns.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and EX Certification (Teacher Certification). Preferred: M.A. in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years’ experience teaching high‑school mathematics (preferred).
• Experience teaching Computer Programming is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage a classroom of 20+ students.
• Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills.
• Commitment to forming intentional disciples of Jesus Christ and alignment with Catholic faith.
