This is a two-year contract with the preponderance of the work taking place during the period from early January until early May, while the Michigan students are in residence in Geneva.

Responsibilities Include:

- Managing all aspects of the University of Michigan Law School's Geneva International Fellows Program;

- Identifying potential placement sites and liaising with IOs and NGOs to facilitate externship placements;

- Evaluating student performance during externships and in the seminar through regular assessments.

The qualified candidate should:

- Hold a J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school, though consideration may be given to those with equivalent exposure to U.S. legal education;

- Have a deep understanding of the Geneva international community the IOs (in particular UN agencies), NGOs, diplomatic missions, and adjacent legal community including knowledge of the substantive mandate, institutional organization, and bureaucratic (in particular human resource-related) workings of these institutions and offices within them;
