3rd Grade Class Teacher

The 3rd Grade Class Teacher will guide a class of students through an engaging, developmentally appropriate Waldorf curriculum while creating a warm, inclusive, and supportive classroom community.

The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues and families and contribute to the wider life of the school through festivals, performances, field trips, faculty collaboration, and community activities.

• Plan and teach a developmentally appropriate 3rd Grade curriculum.
• Build strong, respectful relationships with students and families.
• Integrate academic subjects with artistic and practical experiences.
• Create a welcoming classroom environment that supports diverse learners.
• Collaborate with specialist teachers, colleagues, and student-support staff.
• Participate in faculty meetings, school events, festivals, and professional development.
• Maintain clear communication with families regarding student learning and development.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Previous elementary teaching experience.
• Waldorf teacher training or experience in a Waldorf school preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Genuine enthusiasm for working with children.
• Commitment to inclusive, student-centered education.
• Interest in continuing professional development in Waldorf education.

Salary: Approximately $41,000-$60,000 annually, depending on experience and training.
