What You’ll Be Doing
As a Chassis Design Engineer, you will support the development of chassis components for truck and SUV models by:
- Creating and managing 3D models, technical documentation, drawings, and parts lists based on vehicle changes or cross‑functional requests
- Conducting regulation and certification confirmation activities
- Leading communication between design, suppliers, and project management teams
- Monitoring field issues and warranty trends for chassis components, including leading root‑cause investigations
- Supporting benchmarking and cost‑reduction studies with suppliers and recommending implementation proposals
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent)
- Excellent problem‑solving and interpersonal skills
- 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer or equivalent
- Proficiency in CATIA
- Ability to work up to 20% overtime as needed
- Ability to work on‑site Monday through Thursday
- Experience in chassis design and development
