Transmission Line Project Engineer
HDR Engineering is looking for a Transmission Line Project Engineer to join our growing and nationally ranked team of Power Delivery professionals in Ann Arbor, MI.

Specific Duties- Leads overall technical direction of projects and provides guidance and oversight to a technical team of engineers, designers, CADD technicians, and project support staff
- Scope and schedule support to the PM, including work breakdown structure development and implementation, change management, and schedule management
- Budget support to the PM for proposal development, progress assessment, and change management
- Must thoroughly understand and implement the HDR Quality Management Systems (QMS) requirements, processes, and procedures to deliver a world class quality product to the client
- Supports scheduling for and/or performs quality reviews for all deliverables, ensuring appropriate reviewer(s) are assigned
- Coordinates with operations leaders and PM for resource planning and management
- Works independently and may direct, mentor, train, and/or supervise one or more EITs, CADD/Designers, and administrative staff
- Independently coordinates the work of engineers and the balance of the team throughout an entire project life cycle
- Participates in project reviews as needed
- A minimum of 5 years of Transmission Line design experience required
- EPC project experience a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and PLS-CADD suite
- Bachelor's degree
- Previous experience in general civil engineering
- Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered (e.g., Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license)
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Attitude and commitment to being an active participant of an employee-owned culture is a must
