Job DescriptionOur growing team needs an Electrical Design Engineer to assist in developing product equipment and test centers for the AI algorithms that power KLA’s extraordinary capabilities. Join our team in Ann Arbor and enjoy excellent career opportunities.
Responsibilities- Configure PC and Server hardware and software.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams in Central Engineering Group to define Test Fixture requirements.
- Design, document, build, test, and integrate Test Fixture assemblies that involve electrical, optical, and mechanical systems, including AC/DC power distribution.
- Work with vendors and internal teams to procure and release parts.
- Prototype, assemble, and test electrical and electro‑optical assemblies.
- Minimum two years’ relevant experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering principles.
- Hands‑on lab experience building electrical/optical/mechanical assemblies.
- Proficiency with soldering, hand tools, wiring, multimeter, oscilloscope, and lab test equipment.
- Self‑sufficient with a consistent track record of organizing, designing, and delivering completed electrical/mechanical/optical assemblies.
- Ability to travel up to 20%, domestically and internationally.
- Master’s Level Degree and 0 years related work experience;
Bachelor’s Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years.
Base Pay Range: $76,300.00 - $ Annually
