Senior Application Engineer

Staff Bright is looking to hire a Senior Applications Engineer to join our client’s growing team in Macomb County, MI
. This role is critical in helping drive diversification into new industries by identifying innovative applications for advanced composite and adhesive technologies across aerospace, industrial, and sporting goods markets.

• Identify and evaluate new markets where advanced composite technologies can provide differentiated value and solve complex customer challenges.
• Lead technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholders to validate product applications, performance requirements, and commercial opportunities.
• Develop and execute market exploration strategies, including creating and validating value propositions and business opportunities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business development, engineering, marketing, and global teams to support product strategy and commercialization efforts.
• Support customer evaluations and testing processes to ensure technologies meet technical specifications and performance expectations.

• 10+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Applications Engineering, or technical customer-facing experience within a technical product environment.
• A strong background in Advanced Composites is required

• Experience supporting customers within aerospace, industrial, sporting goods, or related industries.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to communicate complex engineering concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
